The Light in the Dark

By March 28, 2022One Comment1 min read

Our parents are the lamp in the dark,

When we are sad, they take us to the park

In trouble, they throw some light

And make things bright;

In our lives, they are like a spark.

They teach us to take the correct path,

But, sometimes show their wrath

It’s for our good

Hope you understood;

That piece of math.

For us, they care

And for us they bear,

They help us stand on our feet

And encourage us not to retreat;

Now we are going to pay the fare.

Now that we are grown-ups

Let’s reciprocate the same love they’ve shown us

Not as a responsibility,

But as a gesture of love;

And now we will buy them doughnuts……..
