Moi Doughssier, a haven for pastry and coffee enthusiasts, has captured my taste buds with its delightful array of treats. It is situated in the quiet alleys of Vashi and the ambience is quaint and aesthetically pleasing. From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly baked goods filled the air, promising a culinary adventure.
Let’s begin with the savoury delights. The Korean Garlic Buns were an absolute revelation. The soft,

Seoul Garlic Buns
pillowy bread was generously topped with savoury garlic and herb butter that melted in the mouth. The centre was heaped with cream cheese that cut through the garlic perfectly. Each bite was a burst of flavour, with the garlic’s pungency perfectly balanced by the bread’s sweetness.

Mushroom and Cheese Croissant
The Mushroom and Cheese Croissant was another standout. Flaky, buttery layers encased a rich, creamy mushroom and cheese filling that was simply divine. The combination of textures and flavours was impeccable.

Chocolate Bombolini
The Chocolate Custard Bombolini was pure indulgence. A cloud-like doughnut filled with a decadent chocolate custard was the epitome of dessert perfection. The outer shell was crisp and airy, while the filling was rich and creamy. It was a symphony of textures and flavours that left me craving more.
The Cranberry Oat Cookie was a delightful surprise. Chewy and packed with the tangy flavour of cranberries, it was the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
The Strawberry Cupcake was a delightful treat. The moist vanilla sponge was topped
with a luscious layer of strawberry buttercream.
To complement the delectable treats, I tried the Vanilla Milkshake and Cold Coffee. The milkshake was thick and creamy, with a genuine vanilla flavour that was not overly sweet. The cold coffee was refreshing and invigorating, with a strong coffee flavour that was perfect for a pick-me-up.
Overall, Moi Doughssier is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or a penchant for pastries. They also offer various other treats like decadent cheesecakes, jumbo brownies, creamy mousses, focaccia bread, americanos and also bake fresh sourdough bread as per order. The quality of the ingredients and the skill of the bakers and the founder Ms Nafisa Mukadam are evident in every bite. The ambience is cosy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Whether you’re craving something sweet or savoury, Moi Doughssier has something to offer everyone.
